Just for the Halibut

  • Primo 2 Main Street Rockland, ME, 04841 United States (map)

Tickets are now available for Maine Coast Fisherman’s Association annual “Just for the Halibut” event - a culinary celebration of the largest flatfish in the world. Hosted for the second year in a row at Rockland's PRIMO Restaurant.

Chef Melissa Kelly will live demo how to break down a whole halibut in front of you while Port Clyde fisherman, Gerry Cushman regales you with sea stories and talks about how and where to catch these legendary fish.

The team at PRIMO will serve a bounty of bites and appetizers featuring fresh-caught halibut and other local seafood, as well as handcrafted cocktails, wine and beer. Some of the incredible dishes from last year included grilled halibut steaks, confit halibut rillettes, and smoked halibut dip, to name just a few.

We can't wait to see what Chef Kelly and her team create for this year's event!

Plus, you can't beat our location - PRIMO's event barn sits at the top of the hill, looking out over the bay, surrounded by our farm gardens. Our fire pits will be lit-up adding warmth and beauty.

Tickets are $150/person and include food and 2 drink tickets.
